Conference Overview
The 2022 Global Youth Conference on SDGs was a two-day online event that brought together over 200 youth delegates, eager to learn and engage in discussions on pressing global issues. The conference featured inspiring keynotes from prominent figures like Indonesian SDGs National Coordinator Mr. Yanuar Nugroho, owner of the Body Shop Indonesia Ms. Suzy Hutomo, and SDGs ambassador Mr. Billy Mambrasar, who addressed critical topics ranging from climate change to gender equality. The conference also included four panel discussions, with invited expert speakers and selected youth delegates, focusing on key themes like climate action, ocean conservation, zero waste innovation, and food security. In these panels, youth presented their research and perspectives, and engaged in discussions on finding sustainable solutions within their communities. Despite the online format, the conference provided an environment where participants could connect, share ideas, and explore their roles in achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
